Uniform 2 volume set. Volume I is a 1942 reprint; no mention of a reprint in Volume II but they match well. Both volumes are in very good, clean condition. Top edges tinted blue; top edge of volume 1 slightly speckled / pale splash marks. The bindings very slightly bruised at the spine ends. Otherwise firm, inner hinges very good. Two small light brown splash marks to the outer closed textblock foredge. A very little foxing to the top closed textblock edge. Overall, a very good copy of this now scarce edition of the complete works translated into English by Screech. The binding is firm and text pages clean throughout.
