Hardback with dust jacket. Original brown boards. Top edge tinted brown (faded). First printing in this edition. The binding is firm and inner hinges are very good. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. pp. xiv, 756. Some foxing to the top outer closed textblock page edge. Other edges are clean. Some minor bumps to the bottom closed textblock edge, with some very short nicks to the bottom margin edge of a few pages in the middle of the textblock. The pale blue dust jacket is rubbed at the edges, has some quite heavy rubs to the middle of the spine, some minor chips and nicks to the top of the spine and the front flap has been price clipped. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and it protects the jacket against wear. (Photographed without the film sleeve, to minimise reflection).
