Hardback with dust jacket. Small pocket sized hardback. Original green boards. A slight lean to the spine. The binding is firm and pages clean. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. First published in 1950; this is the new edition of 1951.The dust jacket has a very pale stain to the spine region and the boards have a small thin strip of paper residue to the front joint where the dust jacket had probably stuck to the boards in a very thin strip. Dust jacket is also generally greyed in appearance, with rubs and short nicks to the edges. pp.128. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and it protects the jacket against wear. (Photographed without the film sleeve, to minimise reflection).
