Hardback with dust jacket. Pictorial glazed boards with matching dust jacket. First edition. Dolphin Books series. In very good condition. The binding is firm and pages are bright except for foxing to the top closed textblock page edge and just a couple of foxing spots to endpapers and pastedowns. No names or inscriptions. Pages are free from creasing. The dust jacket has a few light rubs to the edges and has browned at the underside of the top edge. pp. 48. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and protects the jacket against wear. Mary Shillabeer's illustrations are quite reminiscent of Edward Ardizzone.
