Both the book and dust jacket are in very good, clean condition. Some foxing spots to the top outer closed textblock edge. No other marks. No names or inscriptions. Page clean. Binding firm. 83pp. Later 1970s printing; first published in 1959. Dust jacket unclipped. This simply presented and well researched book gives the background of the settlement of four separate American colonies - Jamestown, Plymouth, New Amsterdam (New York) and Fort Christina.
