Hardback with dust jacket. First edition. Original red boards; just very lightly bruised at spine ends. There is a gift inscription written in ink on the front pastedown - amusingly dated 1928 (the book was published in 1954!). Top edge tinted red. The pages are nice and clean and the binding firm. A single foxing spot to the outer closed textblock foredge. The dust jacket is just lightly rubbed at the spine ends and corners, with a short tear to the top corner of the front cover / front flap join. The spine of the jacket is very slightly darkened and the front flap has been price clipped. The jacket is otherwise bright and fresh; a really nice example. pp. 192.
