No names, inscriptions or other writing to the pages. Method of classifying words in family groups has been employed but digraphs include more difficult consonant blends, silent letters such as k and gh and exceptions such as 'ow' in bowl. The purpose of the book is to increase the child's knowledge of phonic structures... It is intended for average children with a reading age of approx. 7-8 but the wide interest level of the text makes it equally suitable for slow learners in remedial classes. 32pp. 305227
