Endpapers are plain with logo of a closed wing ladybird in an oval frame and Series 413 printed in black. The rear flap of the dust jacket lists the titles in series 413, ending with this one. Pale orange / cream boards, with pictorial onlay. The front board is creased down the centre, boards are generally greyed and have rubs to the spine ends. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. Some light grubby handling marks to pages (no major stains, just minor thumbing etc. and one page of text has two very pale brown stains). Several pages have small flattened creases at the top corner. There are two heavily creased / crumpled pages in the middle of the book (2 leaves, which is 4 pages). The dust jacket is worn at the edges, with some old tape repairs to the underside of the jacket and three small pieces of tape on the outside of the jacket at the spine ends and one corners. A previous owner's name has been written neatly in biro at the top edge of the front pastedown, the top corners are slightly bumped and there are some tiny indentations to the boards. The sewn binding is just slightly loosening inside the covers. In otherwise good clean condition. A wonderful book of 1970s childhood nostalgia. 309295
