This is a well-used copy of this essential collector's reference guide to Louis Wain's postcards. There is a reading crease to the spine, rubs to the cover edges, a short split at the base of the spine, some mild creasing. The half-title page is loose and a couple of preliminary pages and contents pages are coming away from the binding - perfect-bound paperback and some of the initial pages are loosening from the glued spine. Small piece of paper pasted over a previous owner's name and phone number on the half-title page. There are a number of pencil ticks and notes written in pencil throughout the book. Some notes written in pencil inside the back cover. Illustrated throughout with black and white pictures. This is still a good usable reading / reference copy of this extremely scarce collector's guide. 315pp. 303819
