In 1941 the Ministry of Agriculture asked the New Zealand government if they would send a number of agriculturists to Great Britain to assist in the food production drive. Mr. G. A. Holmes was chosen to lead a group of six experts who arrived in this country in 1942 and this book records his two-and-a-half years' experience in Britain. pp. 128.
