Stapled binding with maroon spine, pictorial card front cover and plain card back cover. Some creasing to the front cover. The back cover has a rusty stain at the top edge and a separate small greasy stain, also at the top edge. Both marks also affect the last few pages of text, though marks to pages are more pale than the marks to the back cover. 15.5cm x 8cm. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. From Sea to Sea and Other Sketches, Letters of Travel [2 Volume Set] Kipling, Rudyard Macmillan and Co., Limited [1926 and 1925] London 1926 Limp Leather Bound Very Good Book 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall Pocket edition 2 volume set in uniform limp red leather bindings with gilt detail. Top edges gilt. Both are in very good condition. Both have neat previous owner's signature and date on the front endpaper. Volume I has a few pages at the beginning (preface and contents pages) misbound which has resulted in some tears in those pages next to the spine. Pages are still firmly bound in; not as bad as it sounds. Bindings are just a little rubbed in the usual places, at spine ends and corners.
