Small hardback with dust jacket. Green boards with darker green titles. The boards are a little faded at the edges. The binding is firm and pages clean; just a little foxing to outer closed textblock page edges and to the dust jacket. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. In 1941 the Ministry of Agriculture asked the New Zealand government if they would send a number of agriculturists to Great Britain to assist in the food production drive. Mr. G. A. Holmes was chosen to lead a group of six experts who arrived in this country in 1942 and this book records his two-and-a-half years' experience in Britain. pp. 128. The dust jacket is discoloured at the spine and has small rubs, chips, nicks to the edges and small loss at the head of the spine.
