First Series [in 3 volumes] AND Second Series [in 4 volumes]. 7 Volumes altogether, uniformly bound. Ellis, Henry (Keeper of Manuscripts in the British Museum) Harding, Triphook, and Lepard London 1824 First Edition Leather Bound Very Good Book 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall 1824-1827. All edges and endpapers marbled. All volumes contain their original silk ribbon page markers, some now detached. Corners rubbed, with boards exposed at corner tips. This is an important complication of early English documents including letters by Cromwell, Wolsey, Richard III, Thomas More, Henry VI, Tudor monarchs, Charles I and many more. pp. First Series: xviii, 310, [frontis.]; xiv, 308 [frontis. extending facsimile]; xviii, 399. What is Red? Gottlieb, Suzanne ; illustrated Vladimir Bobri Bodleian Children's Books Oxford 2016 1851244581 / 9781851244584 First Thus Hardcover New Book 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall New hardback. Little Jonny ponders the meaning of colours as he explores the landscape. He dips his toes in a blue brook, picks purple flowers, digs brown earth and finds an enormous orange pumpkin.
