No previous owner's names or inscriptions inside. Some foxing to the endpapers and pastedowns and a little to outer closed textblock page edges but the text pages are mostly nice and clean throughout. Minor grubby handling marks to the bottom edges of pages 86-87. A couple of pages missed the machine cut towards the top of the foredge, so have small snagged tears and page 87/88 has also been mis-cut and has a protruding bottom corner which has been folded over. pp. 107. 308268

The boards have a slight curvature, have a small chip at the head of the spine, rubbed spine and a previous owner has mended (neatly) a tear to the bottom approx. one inch of the spine at the joint with the front board. The book now presents well in a loose clear archival acetate wraparound sleeve (which we supply with the book). Some foxing to the endpapers, to the half-title page and to the outer closed textblock page edges. The pages are otherwise clean and illustrations bright.
