Hardback, lacks dust jacket. First edition. Original blue boards, with City of London coat of arms in gilt on the upper board and gilt titles to the spine. A very mild curvature to the boards. The binding is nice and firm and inner hinges are very good. Pages are clean throughout. No names or inscriptions. A few pages have been rough cut at the foredge and/or bottom edge. pp. xii, 211. The dust jacket is clean but a previous owner has repaired a few tears to the underside of the jacket, with a clear scotch-type tape. Some small chips to the spine ends and corners of the jacket.
