Comprises a single Punch volume, no. 133 for the second half of the year 1907. Original maroon cloth binding, with gilt stamped Mr Punch and black floral scroll pattern on the upper board. Blind stamped floral scroll pattern to the lower board and gilt caricatures and titles to the spine. The binding is faded at the spine and cloth frayed and bruised at the spine ends. Corners lightly rubbed and bumped. A few small marks to the boards. The binding is firm and inner hinges good - just short cracks to the top and bottom of the rear inner hinge. There is a presentation plate loosely inserted inside the book but this has not been filled in or stuck down. A little foxing to preliminary pages and there is a rusty mark between two sections, just before the Dictionary starts. There is also a short repaired split to the bottom edge of the rear inner hinge where the rear endpaper was not fitted as tightly as it needed to be. The binding is firm. Ribbon page marker attached.
