Publisher Victor Gollancz Ltd 1936

Inventory No. 307298

Hardback, with dust jacket. 3rd impression, January 1936. Original black boards. There is a very slight forwards lean to the spine and light bruising to the spine ends and corners, with minor rubs at the head of the spine and two of the corners. The binding is firm and pages clean. No names or inscriptions. Some light foxing to the front pastedown, half-title page and endpapers. pp. 701. The yellow Gollancz dust jacket is worn and torn and quite brittle at the spine. Spine has browned. The jacket is overall greyed, has a few long tears and chips with loss to the edges. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and it protects the jacket against wear.
