Hardback with dust jacket. Reprint; was first published in 1951. This is the 2nd impression. Original red boards. A forwards lean to the spine and minor bumps to the spine ends and corners, with fading to the boards at the head and tail of the spine. Presentation bookplate on the front endpaper. The Gateway Series is a series published by Lutterworth Press to provide Sunday School Rewards books. Christian message. Some light foxing to the outer closed textblock page edges and to the half-title page. The binding is firm and pages otherwise clean. The dust jacket is worn and torn, with a long tear to the back cover, further rubs and small chips and tears to the edges, with a small amount of loss to the bottom of the spine and to corners. A few pale marks to the back cover of the dust jacket. Front flap price clipped. pp. 124. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and it protects the jacket against wear.
