Publisher Ward Lock Reprints 1970

Inventory No. 306537

A reprint of the 1877 Chatto and Windus edition. Original yellow boards. There is a small stain to the top outer textblock edge of the first approx. 100 pages and a small brown stain on pages 12-13 which shows to the pages either side as well. A few light foxing spots to the outer closed textblock edges. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. Dust jacket has a pale stain to the bottom third of the spine; a few other light marks and some rubs to edges. Not price clipped. Despite the flaws, still a good solid reading copy. pp. xix, 636. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and it protects the jacket against wear. Like most of our stock, we have this book at a lower price in our shop premises if you would like to call in.
