Hardback, with dust jacket. First edition. Original blue boards; just very slightly faded and bruised at the spine ends. Top edge tinted blue. The binding is firm. No previous owner's names, inscriptions or other marks. Pages age-toned / darkened, but not heavily browned. Noticeable foxing to the outer closed textblock page edges and to the underside of the dust jacket. The dust jacket has a couple of short tears and some minor rubs to the edges, plus the back cover is generally greyed. Front flap of the dust jacket price clipped. pp. 238, plates. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and protects the jacket against wear.
