Jacket Condition Good

Type Book

Size 8vo - over 7 - 9" tall

Publisher St. James's Place, London Collins 1946

Inventory No. 105959

Hardback, with dust jacket. 2nd impression. Original green boards. Some foxing to the endpapers, pastedowns and back cover and flaps of the dust jacket. No previous owner's names or inscriptions. A loose leaf in the textblock, pages 71-74. No sewing holes so they don't look as thought they have ever been bound in. pp. xv, 240, plates. The dust jacket has a misprinted jacket to the underside - also a DJ for British Game but the whole printed with a very orange tinge. The jacket is worn and torn, with a significant tear at the top of the spine, small loss in the middle of the spine, rubs, chips and some creasing to the edges. The dust jacket is supplied by us in a loose protective clear archival film sleeve. This does not adhere to the book or jacket in any way and protects the jacket against wear.
