Publication date not stated but Eldorado was published in 1913 and dedication date on the f.e.p. is August 1913. Inscribed and SIGNED by Baroness Orczy on the f.e.p: 'To Alice Pincham. With my dear love, Emmuska Orczy, August 1913'. Original red cloth, with pictorial onlay to the front board and gilt lettering. Lettering dulled. There is a forwards lean to the spine and the spine is faded, with some small marks. The cloth is fraying at the spine ends and corners a little rubbed. The binding is firm and hinges good. Some foxing to the endpapers, pastedowns and prelims. A few pages have been badly cut / miscut and have roughly torn foredges. I like to highlight every defect but this is still a good copy, with a nice inscription from the author. pp. x, 374. 19.5cm.
