Volume one is FAIR / POOR - the boards are worn and marked, with splits to the cloth at the spine edges and corner, inner hinges cracked and there is annotation to the text and pencilled notes on the rear endpaper. Volume two is FAIR / GOOD - some marks to the text and boards. Spines of both volumes are faded. It looks as though f.e.p.s have been removed from both vols. 299pp & 321pp. 18.5cm.
