Cooper, J. Fenimore Blackie and Son, Limited [c. 1900] 1900 Hardcover Good No Jacket Book 12mo - over 6 - 7" tall 
Hardback. Decorative blue cloth. Publication date not stated but is c. 1900 (this edition). The binding is firm. Boards are clean but slightly dull, with bruising and rubs at the spine ends and corners. A school prize bookplate (dated 1900) on the front pastedown. A short tear to the bottom edge of the title page, next to the spine. Black and white frontis. illus. Pages are age-toned; endpapers browned. Some light foxing. pp. 256, + 12 pages of publisher's lists at the back. In the Famous Books for Boys and Girls series. 308427

Lightly bruised at the spine edges and corners. Prize bookplate (dated 1903) has been tipped in after the front endpaper. A later (dated 1977) previous owner's name and brief address written on the front endpaper. The binding is firm. Pages are age-toned and have foxing throughout. Heavy foxing to the half-title page, first and last few pages and to the outer closed textblock page edges. pp. 191, + publisher's list at the back for Blackie & Son's Story Books for Girls.
